Psychological Impacts of Covid-19

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted mental health worldwide. Prolonged isolation, fear of infection, and economic uncertainty have contributed to increased rates of anxiety, depression, and stress. Health care workers, the elderly, and individuals with preexisting mental health conditions are particularly vulnerable. The pandemic has also highlighted disparities in mental health care access, emphasizing the need for improved support systems and telehealth services. Addressing these impacts requires a multidisciplinary approach, integrating psychological support with public health measures to mitigate long-term consequences on mental well-being.
