Gregory P Brown, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry and the Residency Training Director at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, Las Vegas branch. He completed a BA in Psychology from Oberlin College followed by an MD degree from the University of Arkansas. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, and a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Rochester. He is Board Certified in both Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. His interests range from psychotherapy to hypnosis to medico-legal matters. He helped to found the Psychiatry Residency in Las Vegas and has been program director since its inception. Richard has completed an honours degree in Pharmacy from the University of Sydney focusing on drug inhibitors for the treatment of schizophrenia. Richard was recently appointed security and advisory committee member for the medico-legal indemnity company AVANT in 2017 and is currently working as a clinical doctor in St George Public Hospital. Richard's goal is to one day procure a molecule that can manage the negative symptoms of schizophrenia which contributes to the overall morbidity of the patient. His position in both the Pharmacy sector and the Medicine field has helped him significantly in these goals.

Jerry Sparby is the Executive Director/Therapist for the ‘Yes Network/Building a World of Love’ based in MN. He has done his graduate and undergraduate work at Universities in Minnesota and his Counseling degree @ Adler Graduate School in Minneapolis, MN. He works directly with intense kids, depression and suicide, veterans/police (their families) diagnosed with PTSD and coaching their parents on strategies to be more successful in dealing trauma and stresses with their children. Meni Koslowsky received his PhD in Psychology from Columbia University and presently has a dual appointment as Professor of Psychology at Bar-Ilan and Ariel Universities in Israel. He is a Fellow of the APA, has written over 100 articles and has recently focused on geriatric research.

Dr. Hall earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from the University of Iowa. He earned his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Hall is a fellow and diplomate of the American Board of Medical Psychotherapy, a fellow and diplomate in geriatric psychology of the International College of Professional Psychologists. He is also certified in clinical hypnosis as well as a certified bereavement therapist.

Cori Costello PhD, LCPC, ATR-BC is a clinical lecturer and a core faculty for the Family Institute of Northwestern University’s online counseling program out of Evanston, Illinois. She has 20 years of experience as a licensed counselor and is a registered and board certified art therapist. Her clinical research explores merging creativity and mindfulness techniques for increased resiliency in clients with a history of trauma and anxiety based responses.

Professor WK Tang was appointed to professor in the Department of Psychiatry, the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2011. Professor Tang completed his medical training at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He joined the Chinese University of Hong Kong as an academic staff since 1999. His main research area is Neuropsychiatry in Stroke. Professor Tang has published over 100 papers in renowned journals, and has also contributed to the peer review of 40 journals. He has secured over 20 major competitive research grants. He has served the editorial boards of five scientific journals. He was also a recipient of the Young Researcher Award in 2007, awarded by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

His main research area is the psychiatric morbidity in stroke, namely dementia, cognitive impairment, depression, anxiety, apathy, fatigue, emotional incontinence, suicidality, insomnia, pain, and quality of life. Sergio Perez is a psychiatrist from Cuba involved in suicide prevention since 1976. He was member of the main organization of suicide prevention ( IASP, IASR, BI; ADIS; etc). He is founder of Suicidology Section in the World Psychiatry Association and the World Suicidology Net. He is temporal advisor of World Health Organization and Panamerican Health Organization for the suicide prevention in the Region of The Americas.

Dr Stephen Hinshaw interests lie in the fields of clinical child and adolescent psychology and developmental psychopathology. Major themes include the diagnostic validity of childhood disorders, the role of family and peer relationships in normal and atypical development, the early prediction of behavioral and learning problems, the neuropsychology and neurobiology of impulsive and externalizing behavior, expressions of psychopathology in female samples, and the implementation of combinations of psychosocial and pharmacologic intervention for children with externalizing behavior disorders, with strong emphasis on moderators and mediators of outcome. Charles B Nemeroff is a board certified geriatric psychiatrist who is Director of the University of Miami Center on Aging and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. His research has concentrated on the biological basis of the major neuropsychiatric disorders. His clinical research is focused on the use of genetic, neuroendocrine, neuroimaging and neurochemical methods to comprehensively understand the pathophysiology of depression. In recent years he has uncovered the neurobiological mechanisms that mediate the increased risk for depression in victims of child abuse. He has also contributed to research concerning the relationship of depression to cardiovascular disease, as well as to identifying predictors of specific antidepressant treatment responses.

Dr. Nemeroff has received numerous honors during his career including the distinguished Menninger Prize from the American College of Physicians and the Research Award from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He is a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences He has served on the Mental Health Advisory Council of the National Institutes of Mental Health and the Biomedical Research Council for NASA. He is past President of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and the American College of Psychiatrists. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. He has published more than 900 research reports and reviews.

Giampaolo Perna has completed his MD and PhD from Milan State University becoming psychiatrist in the same university. He is the chairman of the department of clinical neurosciences of Hermanas Hospitalarias - Villa San Benedetto Menni near Como Lake. He has published more than 100 papers in impacted journals. He is voluntary professor at Leonard Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami and associate professor at Maastricht University. He is the chair of the WPA section on personalized psychiatry and member of the executive board of the Italian Association for Behavior Analysis and Modification and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AIAMC).

Thomas Eduard Schlaepfer, MD is the Vice Chair of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital Bonn, Germany, where he is also Dean of Medical Education he holds a joint appointment as Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Mental Hygiene at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. He is a fellow of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) and chair of the Task Force on Brain Stimulation of the World Federation of Societies of Biological Psychiatry. He received his medical training at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He worked as Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, Maryland. Since 1997, he has been Associate Professor of the same department, as well as the Department of Mental Hygiene at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He focused the research of his group on translational, functional neuroimaging and clinical effects of neuromodulation interventions (including repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation, vagus nerve stimulation, magnetic seizure therapy and deep brain stimulation) for treatment resistant major depression. After the first human application in the year 2000 his group developed the clinical use of magnetic seizure therapy (MST) for depression and more recently the hypothesis-guided therapeutic use of deep brain stimulation of parts of the human reward system (Nucleus Accumbens and Medial Forebrain Bundle) in the same disorder.

Guillem Feixas Viaplana is currently Professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Barcelona, completed his PhD at this center and holds a Postdoc position at the University of Memphis, USA.
