Abnormal Psychology
Abnormal psychology studies unusual patterns of behavior, thought, and emotion, often in the context of mental illness. It explores the causes, symptoms, and treatments of psychological disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and personality disorders. Abnormal psychologists work in clinical settings to diagnose and treat mental health conditions, conduct research on the etiology and progression of disorders, and develop therapeutic interventions.
